Job Description

ThinkTell Junction We are seeking a motivated and friendly Cashier/Customer Service professional to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be the first point of contact for our customers providing them with exceptional service and support throughout their shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include handling cash transactions processing sales and addressing customer inquiries with a cheerful demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products or services they are looking for.
  • Process cash credit and check transactions accurately and efficiently at the register.
  • Handle customer inquiries complaints and provide solutions to foster a positive shopping experience.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized checkout area ensuring that registers are stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to management.
  • Achieve sales targets and promote current store promotions and loyalty programs effectively.

Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in retail or customer service is preferable.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with customers and staff.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in handling transactions and cash management.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and remain composed under pressure.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing change.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings weekends and holidays as required.
