Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant opportunity in Nashville TN
Great opportunity to join a Community hospital setting level 3 trauma with 560 fulltime employees. Medical services include OBGYN General Surgery Heart & Vascular Primary Care Urology Endocrinology Pulmonology Nephrology Gastroenterology Behavioral Health Hematology Oncology Cancer Center Rheumatology Foot and Ankle Orthopedics Neurology Interventional Radiology Otolaryngology and Outpatient Imaging.
About the Position:
- Join Two Gastroenterologists & 3 APP Practice
- Conducting initial and followup patient assessments.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Assist with postsurgical followup appointments
- Prescribing medications and treatments within the APPs scope of practice.
- Providing patient education and counseling.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide continuity of care.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Strong clinical assessment diagnostic and decisionmaking skills.
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
