Summary
King County Parks is looking for a dedicated Real Estate Records Program Coordinator to contribute to the effective management and preservation of Parks property records.
About the Role:In this role youll manage real estate documents conduct research and analysis and generate reports. This position supports the Division in ensuring adherence to County code and State law facilitating access to records and collaborating with diverse internal and external groups on various property management issues. The position plays a key role in maintaining thousands of records used by internal teams to determine property ownership maintenance responsibilities allowed uses and to provide public access.
This position performs work remotely and onsite.
About the Team:The Land Management Unit (LMU) in Parks manages property rights for King Countys parks trails and open spaces. LMU oversees property records provides property information and analysis to internal teams and the public permits nonpark uses through Land Use Guidelines and manages encroachments. Its work supports the Divisions values of equitable access responsible stewardship and resource protection.

Job Duties
What You Will Be Doing:
- Manage King County Parks real estate records according to the established records management plan and applicable State and County statutes.
- Perform research and analysis regarding Parks property interests and develop applicable reports summarizing findings.
- Draft correspondence summarizing property research for supervisor or management.
- Produce annual property reports and reconcile findings with other County agencies.
- Monitor Parks Property email inbox and ensure each inquiry receives an appropriate follow up.
- Respond to inquiries related to records management real estate ownership maintenance responsibility access rights and property management.
Experience Qualifications Knowledge Skills
Qualifications You Bring:
- Experience ingathering analyzing and interpreting real estate data to support datadriven decisionmaking.
- Professional experience applying laws and principles related to land management issues.
- Demonstrated experience in records management with knowledge of records management best practices.
- Experience analyzing problems and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Experience in engaging with diverse stakeholders orally and in writing.
- Experience working in SharePoint software.
- Experience providing customer service in a public facing role.

Supplemental Information
Working Conditions:
- Remote and Onsite Work Details:Employees in this role work remotely from a home location with onsite reporting requirements typically 23 times per quarter The frequency of onsite work is determined by business needs and may be adjusted accordingly. Onsite reporting locations may be at various King County worksites including the collaboration space at King Street Center 201 S. Jackson St Seattle WA 98104.
- Remote Work Location Requirement: Employees must reside in Washington State and be within a reasonable distance to King County worksites to meet onsite reporting requirements.
- Work Schedule: This fulltime position works a 40hour work week. This position is covered under the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is overtime eligible.
- Union Representation: This position is represented by Protec Local 17
