From PLCs to field instrumentation youll work with a range of equipment to ensure everything is running efficiently. - Typical Schedule:Monday FridayDay Shift 40 hours per week
- OnCall Rotation:Once training is completed you will join theoncall rotationfor nights and weekends as needed to provide support for operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpretP&IDsinstrumentation drawings andcause & effect diagrams
- Troubleshoot and tunePID loopsfor process control
- Configure and troubleshootModbus communications
- Perform scheduledESDLEL andH2S testingand calibration
- Program and troubleshoot:
- PLCs(Allen Bradley Siemens Eaton etc.
- RTUs(ROC FB107 TotalFlow etc.
- HMI systems(Red Lion Maple Beijer etc.
- Edge computers and software(Ignition OnLogic Moxa etc.
- Serial to Ethernet converters(Moxa Phoenix Red Lion etc.
- Diagnose and resolve wiring issues using multimeters
- Install maintain and troubleshootfield instrumentationlike pressure transmitters flow meters and temperature sensors
What Were Looking For:This role is open to a variety of experience levels and were happy to work with individuals who are just starting out or those who have more experience in the field. Youll need a strong work ethic a passion for learning and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
- General Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to work safely and follow standard operating procedures
- Basic understanding of mechanical electrical and computer systems (for entrylevel applicants)
- Experience with automation systems and troubleshooting (for more experienced candidates)
- Comfortable with both teambased and independent work
- Journeyman Electrician licenseor equivalent I&E certification is preferred but not required
- Key Responsibilities Include:
- Troubleshooting and repairs (ranging from basic to complex systems depending on your level)
- Helping to manage tasks schedules and work priorities
- Supporting safety meetings training and mentoring junior team members
- Leading projects and proposing improvements as you gain experience
