Job Description
Stamford Plaza Melbourneis a five star luxury hotel located at the Paris end of Little Collins Street in the heart of the shopping & theatre district and we are now seeking an enthusiastic and driven Porter/Concierge to join our team.
- Permanent fulltime position.
- Rotating shift morning and afternoons including weekends
- 38 hours per week.
The successful person will be responsible for:
- Making a great first impression by being the first point of contact for meeting and greeting guests
- Delivery and collection of guest luggage
- Recommending dining options and advising guests of Melbournes sites and attractions
- Overlook the general maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel
- Provide support for the Front Office team
- Able to work on a rating roster which includes morning evening weekends and public holidays
Stamford Plaza Melbourne are looking for a person who:
- Is able to create conversation with guests
- Enjoys working in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Well groomed and presented
- Excellent communication skills
- Enjoys working as part of a team
- Ability to safely carry luggage up to 20KG
