Job Description
This position will be working 3 days per week 8 hour shifts). Shift start times vary from 7:00am to 10:30am. No Call 1 weekend shiftevery 8 weeks.

Our other sites are outpatient imaging departments.
Scope of work
Echo Techs perform a variety of cardiac testing including stress transesophageal transthoracic dobutamine stress echocardiograms and others as indicated (ICE 3D strain specialty and fetal echocardiograms); calculates acquired data and prepares study for medical staff interpretation. Performs ultrasound tests appropriate for patient specific morphology and pathology.
Qualifications
- Required Associates Degree from an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent
- Skills knowledge abilities typically gained through schooling training and experience related to echo including in twodimensional doppler color doppler transesophageal echocardiology (TEE) transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) stress echo and understanding of complex congenital heart disease and surgical repairs. Required
- 3 years of relevant experience in twodimensional doppler color doppler transesophageal echocardiology (TEE) transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) stress echos and understanding of complex congenital heart disease and surgical repairs. Preferred
- CRTDiagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or CRTCardiac Sonographer registered (RCS) within 180 days required.
- CRTBasic Life Support (BLS) AHA or ARC within 90 days required
