Job Description

What Youll Be Doing
You will be responsible for ensuring quality training opportunities are provided for all staff. The Training Manager will be part of the new hire onboarding process with Human Resources and will manage training compliance with the required annual training.

Your Main Priorities
While additional responsibilities are likely to arise on the job you will primarily:
Work with program leaders and upper management to determine successes and opportunities for new training implementation.
Collaborate with HR to complete new hire onboarding; revise as needed.
Track and manage all training in the agencys Learning Management System (LMS).
Monitor compliance with role and program specific trainings collaborating with program leaders.
Provide regular reporting to the Program Directors Team on completion of training certifications etc. by program.
Research and acquire or design and develop new training resources and assign through LMS as appropriate.
Conduct quarterly meetings with each program to determine training needs; provide retraining if needed.
Maintain certifications i.e. expirations and completion of mandatory training.
Work with HR and senior leadership to understand agency needs and new initiatives.
Providence Continuing Education Unit (CEU) and internal or external professional development opportunities.
Participate in agency initiatives that include training or professional development component including participation in agency committees.

Who You Are
Requirements Skills & Abilities:
Bachelors degree in business administration or related field required.
Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role required.
Knowledge of Learning Management System (LMS) software strongly preferred.
Strong organizational critical thinking and timemanagement skills.
Basic computer skills required; knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
Ability to communicate and effectively interact with a diverse population.
Collaboration and teamwork.
The ideal candidate will be required to meet all background checks and medical clearances required for the position.

Physical Requirements
Operational Staff:
This position involves work in an office setting. Tasks include operating a computer for extended periods communicating with colleagues and occasional lifting of office/department materials up to 25lbs. The role also requires the ability to sit for extended periods bending reaching hearing and vision.
