Job Description
This position will be a Regional / OTR with Cross Border Flex built in. Based out of Edmonton AB successful candidate will need to be flexible as 1 week it could be EDM DL return 1450 miles) and then the week after could be EDMWinnipegKimball back to Winnipeg for a second load and then home to Edmonton after delivering so they would be gone for 22.5 weeks (roughly 4900 miles during this stint) then do local runs for a few weeks and then repeat something depending on the needs of the facilities. Candidate will also help cover holidays and will need to be ok with flying if needed as they would travel to the other drivers location and run that drivers truck. Wage will be roughly 33/hr with 80hrs vacation pay. May have to drive a standard transmission truck. Some weeks may be slower and only 40 50 hours per week and others could end up at the 70 hr mark.
About the role:
- Drivers average $80$110K per year
- $7500 signonbonus available
- Weekly/ BiWeekly home time
- Compensation includes hourly wages (all onduty nondriving time) and mileage pay

Responsibilities
- Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Operates tractor trailer units
- Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
- Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/nonhazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
- Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
- Maintains daily logs time sheets expense reports dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications
- Class AZ CDL
- TDG and Tanker endorsements
- 12 months of Class AZ driving experience
- Valid Canadian Passport
- Valid Canadian Fastcard
- Must be willing to perform trips cross border to the US
- Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
