The School
The role is within our School of Applied Sciences and Technology. The departments within the School are located on our Grande Prairie campus and our Fairview campus. The School offers a variety of programminginFine Arts Humanities and Social Sciences Sciences and Animal Health Technology. Through this programmingwe offer a variety of certificates diplomas university transfer coursesas well as a degree in computing science.
The Role
The Water and Wastewater instructor will be responsible for overseeing development and delivery of course and lab content for Water Treatment Water Distribution Wastewater Treatment and Wastewater Collection Levels I & II. The instructor will teach courses or portions of courses in the Water & Wastewater Technician certificate in their areas of expertise and coordinate the delivery of remaining courses. The instructor will develop community partner relationships to promote the program and support work experience placements.
This appointment will commence as soon as possible after March 15 2025 and may be tenure track starting August 15 2025 based on favourable evaluations and budget.

Job Requirements
The successful candidate will have either a Level III or IV Operator in at least two of Water Treatment Water Distribution Wastewater Treatment and Wastewater Collection or hold a Bachelor or Masters of Science in biology environmental sciences environmental management or related field.
