The Facilities and Assets Lead plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth safe and efficient operation of Power To Bes Prospect Lake site. Acting as a key point of contact for logistics site administration asset tracking and contractor coordination this position supports the functionality of the organizations physical resources while upholding our values of accessibility environmental responsibility and community care. This role requires a proactive detailoriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment is comfortable juggling multiple priorities and is eager to contribute to a collaborative team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilities & Assets
- Oversee the daytoday administration of the site and facility needs.
- Maintain and coordinate asset inventory (Fleet & Facilities).
- Coordinate vehicle and trailer fleet use and routine maintenance.
- Coordinate routine facility maintenance contractors and service providers.
- Track and coordinate facilities insurance operating permits leases etc.
- Monitor and facilitate service request tracking.
- Coordinate volunteer sitebased work groups corporate work groups and Site Stewardship group.
- Help maintain an organized and efficient work environment including some cleaning procedures.
- Review and coordinate Standard Operating Procedures for facility equipment.
- Supervise and train Seasonal Grounds Technician.
- Inform and follow the Facilities and Assets Annual Budget.
People & Programs
- Contribute to a positive and dynamic working culture.
- Adhere to all Power To Be policies and guidelines and applicable legislation as they relate to staff and volunteer practices.
- Support organizational policy and procedure implementation.
- Support the Occupational Health and Safety program policies and procedures.
- Conduct site inspections with the Health and Safety Committee cochair.
- Oversee site inspections and hazardous tree assessments.
- Participate in risk identification mitigation and Emergency Procedure review.
- Observe or support a Power To Be program once per quarter.
- Adhere to all Power To Be policies and procedures with direct consideration for privacy protection.
Development & Communication
- Support community and fundraising events as directed.
- Actively participate in required Committees
- Maintain brand standards when communicating with stakeholders.
- Assist the Volunteer & Impact Lead with volunteer recognition and internal engagement.
Perform other related duties as required.
Working Conditions
This role requires outdoor work in varying weather conditions and occasional evenings and weekends. Reliable transportation to the Prospect Lake site and for business use is required.

Requirements
- As per the Ministry of Justice requirements for organizations that work with vulnerable populations A Criminal Record Check (CRC) and Criminal Record Review Act Check
- Possess a valid Class 5 BC Drivers License with a clear drivers abstract.
- Proof of full vaccination against COVID19.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite especially Excel Word Outlook & Teams.
- Must have strong organization and communication skills.
- Previous experience with facilities maintenance or construction.
- Due to the remote work location you must have access to reliable transportation.
Assets
- Possess a valid BC Drivers License class 4.
- Comprehensive risk management experience.
- Understanding of BC Camping Association Guidelines.
- Technology experience including Microsoft Certifications or experience with SharePoint.
- Experience working in a nonprofit or outdoor recreation.
- Knowledge of green building systems (Geothermal & Solar).
- Knowledge of Green building certification LEED LBC Passive House.
- Knowledge of landscaping Horticulture and Irrigation.
- Health and Safety requirements and legislation
- Certifications in Building technology Landscape or Facilities Maintenance.

Compensation: $58000.00 $62000.00
