Medical Office Lead Tampa Childrens Eye Clinic and Surgery a division of Florida Pediatric Associates LLC is seeking an Experienced Medical Office Lead to oversee the daily operations. As a Medical Office Lead you will have the opportunity to manage the front desk and provide administrative support in the practices. He or she will be integral in the establishment of the practice standards and reputation. We are looking for a highly energetic dedicated and professional Medical Office Coordinator to be part of our team and provide high quality patient care by working closely with the supervising pediatric cardiologist. Qualifications:
Education: - High School Diploma or GED
Experience: - Minimum 2 years working as a Medical Front Desk Lead
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
- EMR: NexTech experience a plus
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Specific: - Provide exceptional customer service in person and on the phone to patients families staff vendor and the community: greeting guest guest protocols HIPAA Privacy and Security Procedures.
- Oversees the reception area to insure effective telephone and mail communications both internally and externally to maintain professional image.
- Answering phone calls transferring callers as appropriate
- Managing employee schedules.
- Verifies and obtain eligibility and benefits for all primary and secondary insurances.
- Monitoring and ordering inventory for office and break room supplies
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence including emails faxes mail and packages
- Filing and organizing records invoices and other important documentation
- Submitting work orders and scheduling repairs for general office space and equipment
- Ordering repairs for office equipment and maintenance connecting with and escorting vendors
- Other duties assigned by Practice and Clinical area.
