The Department of Pediatrics at Nemours Childrens Hospital Florida located in Medical City at Lake Nonain Orlando seeks an innovative and highly collaborative leader to serve asDivision Chief of Critical Care Medicine.
The Division of Critical Care Medicine is a clinically and academically active division consisting of 10 pediatric critical care physicians and six APRNs who provide clinical care in the 28bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and also oversee the Transport Team Respiratory Care and Sedation Services. Division members are also actively engaged in clinical quality and bench research. They have key roles in residency education and are leaders in the residency program in simulation and in regional education.
We are seeking a candidate who is a nationally recognized academic leader with a track record of providing excellent clinical care personally and of leadership and administrative experience with clinical programs education academic scholarship and team building. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to effectively inspire manage mentor and develop faculty and staff. An ability to work collaboratively with health professionals from multiple other specialties and disciplines as well as with hospital administrative leaders will be key to success in this role.
