Quality Engineer
Our client based in Chatteris are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to act as the primary point of contact between the Engineering Department Project Operations and the customer for the duration of various jobs contract projects and change/development initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Working in conjunction with internal and external customers to establish a successful stability assessment for production line
- Analysis of internal quality reporting & data producing an improvement programme to reduce COPQ
- Perform process capability studies
- Assist in supplier control (audits & assessments)
- Identify and resolve failures and nonconformities
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues quickly and efficiently
- Own and manage the QMS and introduce an audit programme
- Overall responsibility for management of the QMS
- Developing an internal auditing programme and conducting audits
Person Specification
- Experience and qualification in six sigma
- Experience in executing APQP and ongoing PPAP controls
- Understanding and experience of executing documenting and reporting Statistical process control (SPC) Gage R&R Design and process FMEAs MSA Lean manufacturing problem solving
- Fully computer literate
Hours of Work and Pay
- 39 hours a week
- Early finish on a Friday
- Up to 40000
