Job Description

The Vascular Biology and Therapeutics (VBT) Program at Yale University School of Medicine invites applications from basic and physician scientists for an open rank position Assistant Associate or fullProfessor. Appointment at Yale is available in a number of departments and rank will be commensurate with experience and accomplishments. Applicant must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. and have demonstrated excellence in research and education. The successful candidate will use cutting edge technologies in the field of vascular biology with specific target areas being cardiovascular regeneration and metabolism thrombosis inflammation and lipids and in vivo gene editing. Responsibilities include establishing a vigorous and independently funded research program in cardiovascular biology supervising and mentoring students with diverse backgrounds and contributing to the graduate and medical school educational missions. We seek an individual with a strong record of independent creative accomplishments who will interact productively with colleagues within the VBT Program the Cardiovascular Research Center and the University taking advantage of the many unique opportunities that exist at Yale.
