Purpose of the role:

This position is for the Captiva Developer to work as a member of a team and work directly with the Client.

Position Description:

The main function of a Developer (Java) is to design develop and implement applications using indemand languages and technologies to support business requirements.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
Work with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
Designs develops tests and deploys code for C# APIs Captiva framework definitions and form creation for supporting indexing of Business documents
Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
Leverage industry best practices to design test implement and support a solution
Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area
Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment
Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Education:

Computer Science or Diploma in IT with equivalent IT experience Undergraduate

Required Experience:

3 years design and development experience with C#
3 years experience with API programming
1 year experience working with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) OR Captiva applications or similar technology such as Kofax
3 years experience working in true Agile lab projects throughout the full SDLC cycle
Strong communication skills to collaborate and articulate requirements with Scrum Master BSAs other Developers and Testers in agile labs daily

Nice to Have Skills:

Good understanding of DevOps concepts and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline
Experience in Financial Industry
Experience with ES6/TypeScript/NodeJ
Experience programming with Python
Experience developing REST services
Experience with Swagger and openAPI
