ROLE OVERVIEW: SAMs Institutional Giving Coordinator oversees the Corporate Membership Program inkind giving and discrete projects within the Institutional Giving program.

COMPENSATION: $25.00 $26.00
WORK SCHEDULE: This role is typically scheduled to work business hours Monday Friday. However the needs of this role requires a willingness to work a flexible schedule in support of the department or organization as directed by your supervisor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Corporate Membership Program 30- Coordinate all aspects of the Corporate Membership program including stewardship solicitation and engagement of donors
- Prepare all correspondence including acknowledgment acquisition and renewal letters
- Manage reporting related to corporate membership income and benefit usage
- Draft copy for SAM publications regarding the corporate program including Corporate Member enews and website
- Provide timely gift acknowledgment and maintain effective donor relations
- Complete gift processing for all corporate foundation government and inkind gifts
InKind Program 10- Coordinate all aspects of InKind giving needs for the museum
- Cultivate and solicit corporate donors
- Responsible for all necessary internal and external reporting
Department Support 55- Conduct research for institutional prospects and identify possible alignment
- Monitor institutions that fund the Museum along with the funding cycle for those organizations
- Prepare corporate sponsorship proposals agreements and reports as directed
- Prepare a limited number of foundation and government grant applications as directed
- Provide review and copy editing for proposals including sponsorship and grant applications
- Coordinate benefit fulfillment obligations for corporate supporters
- Lead coordination for institutional funder tours and partnerhosted events manage internal logistics and external communication with funders
- Provide onsite support during corporate program events
- Manage all exhibition and program credit lines for institutional and individual sponsorships in addition to endowments and other restricted funds
- Ensure that institutional donors have approved all credit lines and communicate those requirements internally to ensure appropriate required acknowledgments
- Ensure exhibition and program credit lines are up to date and accurate with institutional individual and any related organizer recognition
- Maintain fulfillment tracking systems and liaise crossfunctionally as needed
- Pull lists of institutional donors for various development event invitations and annual recognition
- Prepare monthly report on program performance compared to budget
- Maintain electronic gift records for the Institutional Giving department
- Monitor record and update institutional records in Tessitura
- Serve as mentor to Institutional Giving Departments intern as applicable
Other 5- Staff SAM development events such as exhibition openings major fundraising events or corporate partner receptions

Required Qualifications- Bachelors degree in liberal arts marketing arts business administration or equivalent experience
- Proactive and professionalverbal and written communication with an ability to tailor communications according to audience
- Ability to simultaneously manage several projects
- Successfully assess priorities and work well with deadlines time management and problemsolving skills
- Exercise discretion in maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Zoom Asana Slack and internetbased research
- Ability to learn museums CRM Tessitura
- Ability to pass and maintain security background check clearance
Preferred Qualifications- 2 years experience in nonprofit fundraising
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with corporate representatives sponsors and colleagues
- Proficiency with Tessitura or similar CRM
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Exposure: Work areas are primarily inside in a climatecontrolled environment with moderate background noise.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES REQUIRED FOR ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Stationary Work: Approximately 80 of time is spent stationary while working at a desk. Balance of time (approximately 20 is spent moving around the work area. Occasional extended periods of standing may be required.
Communication: Clear and effective verbal and written communication in English with trustees the public and coworkers is necessary.
Vision: Ability to effectively use a computer screen and interpret printed materials memos and other appropriate paperwork.
Office Work: Ability to effectively and regularly operate a computer keyboard telephone and other office productivity machinery such as copy machines and printers and ability to inspect prepare and use paperwork files equipment and supplies is necessary.
