Overview

This is a temporary position.

The position of Paperwrapper/Entry Level at Napavine requires performing a wide variety of support duties. The primary function is to wrap units of lumber cable cars and assist with the overall facilitation of shipping lumber. Work schedule: MondayFriday 10:30am7:00pm). Wage starts at $22.66 per hour $47132 per year before any overtime and production bonuses). Production bonuses are possible for every employee each month based on the plant sites target goals.

As you are trained on different jobs to assist with breaks you will gain the job experience to be able to apply internally when advanced positions with increased wages become available.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe environment andcomply with allsafety policies and procedures
  • Keep pace with the production flow.
  • Apply good housekeeping standards to your work area or any area you observe
  • Operate equipment in a safe manner so injury does not occur to operator or any employee in the area
  • Assist fellow personnel during breakdowns.

Qualifications

  • Completion ofhighschool or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Must be able to safely work at a moderate to fast pace
  • Lifting is 2030 pounds on a continuous basis
  • Must be willing to learn new skills
  • Be a team player and selfstarter
