First year RotoRooter drain service technicians can expect toppay earning $55000 on average. Pay increases quickly with each year of experience.
RotoRooter provides an initial 12weeks of paidsewer and drainservicetrainingplus continuing training is available if you want to learn the plumbing trade and pursue a journeyman plumbers license.
Responsibilities
- RotoRooter drain service technicians use their skills to provide solutions to sewer and drain problems.
- A service call begins with diagnosing problems then providing cost estimates to close the sale.
- Unclog and clean sewers and drains for the customer using RotoRooter equipment and tools.
- Document estimates and invoices both in writing and on a provided smartphone.
- Collect payment and move on to the next service call.
Requirements
- A valid drivers license
- Effective communication skills. Must be able to speak and write in English.
- A mechanical aptitude is desirable but prior experience is not necessary.
