Job Description

Internship Opportunity : OTC Derivatives Operations

Step into the heart of financial market operations!

Join our dynamic team and gain practical handson experience in the daytoday processing of Over the Counter (OTC) Equity and FX Derivatives including Accumulators Swaps DCIs and Structured Investments.

This is a great opportunity for students keen to explore how complex trades are managed from to settlement.

Your tasks

  • Supporting the validation booking and settlement of realworld derivative trades
  • Learn how to match trade details and investigate discrepancies with traders and counterparties
  • Gaining exposure to SWIFT messaging accounting entries and trade events like Fixings Knockouts and Expiries
  • Handling trade confirmations resolving breaks in internal and external accounts and working with platforms like DTCC and Marketwire
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams and understanding the importance of controls compliance and risk management
  • Assisting in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for new systems or enhancements

This internship offers a wellrounded view of how financial products are managed operationally making it perfect for students who are detail oriented curious about Capital Markets and eager to learn in a collaborative Fintech Environment.


Qualifications :

  • Polytechnic or University student pursuing a diploma or degree in Finance Business Accounting or a related field
  • Strong interest in Financial Markets or Investment products
  • Comfortable with Excel and working with numbers
  • Meticulous with a knack for problem solving
  • Good team player with strong communication skills
  • Curious eager to learn and able to follow instructions independently
  • Available for a fulltime internship lasting 6 months
