PostDoctoral Associate
A Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Astronomy is available to work with Dr. Elizabeth Lada to investigate the properties of starforming regions in the LMC and Milky Way.
We have a position available in our group to work on multiwavelength imaging and spectroscopic observations data reduction analysis and modeling of starforming environments. We are looking for an individual familiar with the Magellanic Clouds young clusters and experience working with nearinfrared imaging and/or spectroscopic data.
Must have PhD in astronomy or physics. This position will be initially awarded for one year and contingent upon strong performance and conduct and availability of funds may be renewed for up to one year.

The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience and the compensation includes a full benefits package.
PhD in Astronomy Astrophysics or Physics
Experience with data reduction and analysis of infrared data sets.
