Summary of Job Duties:
The Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas invites applications for a fulltime Instructor position which begins August 11 2025 for the Fall semester. The employee is expected to primarily teach courses in real estate at the Department of Finance with a teaching load of 12 credit hours 4 courses) per fall and spring semester. Light service duties are expected as well. Regular reliable and nondisruptive attendance is an essential job duty as is the ability to create and maintain collegial harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree from an AACSB (or equivalent) accredited college or university
At least 10 years of working experience in finance industry.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduate finance courses as an instructor of record (please provide a syllabus of the course and teaching evaluations
Preferred Qualifications:
At least one of CFA CAIA CMT or CFP professional certifications
Experience or willingness to integrate industryrelevant experiences into the curriculum
Experience or willingness to teach courses in multiple areas of finance
