Job Description
The FinanceTech team is responsible for the development and maintenance of IT systems that support the area of corporate finance. We work with systems such as SAP IBM Cognos and Kyriba. We ensure that financial controlling and procurement processes run efficiently with the support of IT systems.
As a leader of SAP ABAP & Basis you will be directing a team responsible for the development configuration and maintenance of SAP systems at Allegro and its group companies. This role requires strong technical skills in SAP ABAP Basis and Security as well as managerial abilities to lead and support the team.
We are looking for people who have:
Extensive knowledge of the SAP ECC system and ideally SAP S4/HANA DB.
Expertise in ABAP programming language with a focus on SAP Basis & Security
Ability to effectively delegate tasks and manage the teams workload
Exceptional problemsolving skills and a solutionsoriented mindset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in a fastpaced everchanging work environment
Ability to motivate and mentor team members
Analytical skills with a focus on process optimization
Collaborative and goaloriented approach
Commitment to ongoing learning and development
Fluency in English (minimum B2 level)

In your daily work you will handle the following tasks:
- Leading and mentoring the SAP ABAP & Basis team to ensure highquality outcomes.
- Delegating tasks and monitoring their completion.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
- Developing testing and implementing SAP solutions using ABAP programming.
- Providing support for SAP updates and patches to maintain system integrity. Managing SAP system configurations and regular system maintenance.
- Monitoring system performance and proactively resolving issues.
- Collaborating with other IT teams and vendors to ensure seamless operation of SAP system integrations.
- Ensuring compliance with SAP best practices and organizational policies. Participating in both internal and external licensing and security audits.
