We are looking for a key employee capable of reading minds and can pull information from thin air! All jokes aside we really are looking for an ambitious individual to managethe day to day running of the Accounts Team who iseager to develop their skills within a supportive highperforming team based in our HQ office.
The team specialise in working with every team within our group internally and externally our customers finance journey of purchasing & hiring new & used forklift trucks and material handling equipment.
Heres what youll do:
Support the FD in the management of the Finance Team with a view to achieving the goals and aspirations of this acquisitive PE backed business on their growth journey.
To establish maintain and develop the necessary controls and procedures with the wider Accounts Team to ensure accurate and timing reporting of results.
Ensure compliance with external reporting requirements flagging and mitigating risk wherever possible.
Provide timely information to allow business decisions to be made quickly and accurately based on current data trends and results.
Use experience and knowledge to up skill and train the wider Accounts team members and drive best practice approach within the team.
Be prepared to get your hands dirty in order to facilitate and improve the running of the overall finance function and resolves issues as they arise implementing effective mitigations to ensure these are not repeated moving forwards.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes in a highpressure environment.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and alignment of financial processes.
Who Are We Looking For
Qualified accountant.
Knowledge to allow the use of data analysis and forecasting methods to facilitate business decisions.
A Proactive and collaborative mindset.
High level attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and people skills.
Direct people management and leadership capabilities.
Proven experience in a similar role which can be leveraged to accelerate results.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skillswith the ability to understand business processes.
