Job Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for ensuring high quality and continuity in the provision of comprehensive primary medical care services. The RMA/CMA is utilized in performing typical front and back office clinical functions. The RMA/CMA is under the overall onsite supervision of the practice administrator.
Environmental Hazards:
Possible exposure to hazardous material hot and cold blood borne pathogens.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry 810 pounds stoop reach stand walk finger grasp feel talk hear see and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Education & Experience
Position Qualifications:
Required:
At least six 6 months previous front and backoffice experience in a healthclinic setting or equivalent experience required
Currently Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant
Current CPR certification
Skills Proficiencies and Knowledge:
Knowledge of all areas related to clinic workflow.
Excellentcustomer service skills and good communication skills.
Ability to multitaskwhile providing good patient care.
Good computer skills and ability to learnnew computer systems as needed.
Primary skills include verbal and writtencommunication with patients to promote continuity of care and followup as wellas daily retrieval and scanning/filing of clinical encounter forms and reportsfor use by clinic staff during patient care activities
