Job Description: We are looking for a skilled ERP Software QA Engineer to ensure the highest level of quality for our ERP software solutions. The successful candidate will be proficient in automating tests handling transactional documents and importing data for repetitive testing. This role requires close collaboration with our development team and product teams to ensure our software meets all technical standards and client expectations.
Key Functions:
- Design develop and execute automation scripts using opensource tools.
- Design develop and execute manual scripts where necessary.
- Create manage and import prerequisites to testing such as base transactional documents and inventory to ensure test cases are repeatable and cover all necessary scenarios.
- Identify record document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
- Monitor debugging process results.
- Stay uptodate with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of the testing phase.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 2 Years proven work experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong preference for experience in ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies tools and processes.
- Handson experience with automated testing tools.
- Handson experience testing APIs with tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Experience writing clear concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases including prerequisites such as base transactional documents and any necessary inventory.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP Business One and/or Acumatica is a plus.
- Proficiency in a programming language such as C# Python Java or SQL relevant to ERP software testing.
- Experience with Selenium TestComplete Cypress or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest TestRail).
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Analytical mind and problemsolving aptitude.
- Strong organizational skills.
