Job Description
Qualis LLC is seeking a Power BI Developer supporting the 96th Test Wing. This position is located at Eglin AFB FL.
Responsibilities
- Dashboard & Report Development: Build interactive and visually appealing Power BI dashboards and reports to support business goals.
- Data Modeling: Design and implement efficient data models to ensure accuracy and optimize performance.
- Data Integration: Connect Power BI to various data sources including databases APIs and cloud platforms and perform data transformations using available tools. Follow CMMI (Level 3 processes for DevOps according to organizational standards and enterprise content management procedures.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with government teams to gather requirements define KPIs and translate data needs into technical solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Enhance the efficiency and scalability of Power BI solutions by improving data load times rendering speeds and overall usability.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data models report functionalities and technical specifications for future reference.
- Training & Support: Educate endusers on Power BI functionalities and provide ongoing support to ensure effective utilization.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure data accuracy and report functionality. Workplace Safety: Conform with and abide by all regulations policies work procedures safety rules and instructions.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must have an active and transferrable Department of DefenseSECRETSecurity Clearance. Must be able to maintain clearance at required level.
- Must be willing to travel up to 15.
- Bachelors degree in computer science information systems data science statistics or a related field.
- Proven experience and proficiency in developing Power Apps and Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Basic understanding of data analytics including data cleaning statistical analysis and data interpretation.
- Must be able to work effectively alone unsupervised or within a group.
- Must have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely in writing and speaking.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with customer interaction and presentation capability.
- Must have the ability to quickly understand the customers overall technical objectives and missions and provide effective solutions.
