SUMMARY:
The RN provides expert professional nursing care; assesses plans implements and evaluates the care rendered to patients with urgent emergent or potential health problems; and participate in the management of the department.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Formal training that will be indicated by a graduation certificate from an accredited RN school of nursing; current state licensure required; BLS certification; experience in clinicbased nursing; dedication to patient satisfaction; ability to communicate effectively; and the ability to work compatibly with physicians and other staff members.
PHYSICAL GUIDELINES:
Physical guidelines include the ability to move traverse position self remain in a stationary position and negotiate steps for up to eight hours per day lift move and transport patients and materials; manual dexterity and motor coordination; articulate speech; read and understand medical information; visual acuity and ability to distinguish colors.
