Essential Job Responsibilities: Following are the specific job responsibilities and duties necessary to accomplish the job purpose.
- Verifies and keeps records on incoming shipments.
- Compares identifying information and counts weighs or measures items of incoming items to verify information against bills of lading invoices orders or other records
- Determines method of shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures routes and rates affixes shipping labels on packed goods
- Assembles shipping containers or selects preassembled containers and inserts items into containers using spacers fillers and protective padding
- Unpacks and examines incoming shipments rejects damaged items records shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
- Routes items to proper locations/departments
- Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications
- Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies
- Pulls and packs product based on daily orders
- Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner
- Operate sit down forklift and side loader to move load and unload material from receiving delivery truck to platform to storage or work area
- Other duties as assigned
Essential Skills Experience and Education: Following are the skills experience education and related course work typically required or expected to perform the essential job functions:
- At least 2 years of continuous receiving/shipping experience
- At least 2 years experience operating a forklift in industrial/manufacturing setting
- At least 2 years of CRM/ERP experience Syteline preferred
- Must have time management skills
- Must be able to speak read and write in English
Essential Physical Requirements: The physical factors and working conditions required or expected while performing the essential functions of the job are described below:
- Regularly required to lift carry pull and push 50lbs. unassisted
- Regularly standing stooping kneeling bending and turning
- Exposed to outdoor weather temperatures

- Must be able to work between 7:00 AM and 4:30 PM Monday thru Friday
