Architectural Technician in Essex
I am working with a wellestablished architectural firm based in the Chelmsford area who are looking for a intermediate or senior architectural technicianto join their is an exciting opportunity to work on a range of residential schemes for developers contributing to highquality housing projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing detailed technical drawings and construction packages using AutoCAD
- Collaborating with architects and project teams to develop residential designs
- Ensuring compliance with UK building regulations and planning policies
- Liaising with consultants contractors and local authorities
- Assisting in the coordination of technical design and construction detailing
Requirements:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential)
- Experience with Revit (desirable but not essential)
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations and planning processes
- Experience working on residential projects (developerled schemes preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Drivers license with own car within an hours travel of the office
Salary will be based on ability and experience but is expected to be between.
