About Jordan Valley Community Health Center:


Jordan Valley Community Health Center (JVCHC) is a missiondriven organization dedicated to improving the health of individuals and families in underserved communities. Job Overview:

The Caf Attendant is responsible for preparing foods and drinks in the caf daily. The attendant prepares the caf use for the following business day. The attendant cleans the cafe while following established health and safety standards at all times.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepares sandwiches and drinks for Jordan Valley staff and facility patrons.
  2. Maintains the cafs cleanliness and safety.
  3. Cleans equipment and surrounding area.
  4. Attends all required Safety Training programs and can describe his/her responsibilities related to general safety department/service safety specific jobrelated hazards.
  5. Manages the cash flow of the caf including running the register and generating daily usage reports.
  6. Manages the inventory of food and beverage at both the caf and the breakfast program at Benton facility and other JVCHC facilities.
  7. Keeps track of who is on the breakfast club and coffee club (staff).
  8. Must have good money management skills and be able to count back change.
  9. Responsible for sanitation during food preparation.
  10. Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a team to facilitate the Clinics ability to meet its goals and objectives.
  11. Attains all agreed to goals and objectives within specified time frames as part of the Clinics overall mission.
  12. Responsibly follows the Clinic Exposure Control Plans/Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens.
  13. Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients families visitors and fellow employees to ensure a professional responsible and courteous environment.

Health Requirements:

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • One year work experience required in customer service or food service related position.

Preferred Qualifications:
