Overview
The Informatics Nurse Applications Analyst Inpatient Team serves as the technical and clinical Health Informatics subject matter expert for the clinical Nurse Applications Analyst supports the mission vision and strategic priorities of Childrens Mercy and Information Nurse Applications Analyst manages projects and programs in the nursing area they are assigned and assists with more complex projects. They maintain and provide technical support for assigned clinical analyst is a liaison to the nursing care delivery teams and develops implements and effectively uses clinical technologies to enhance patient collaborate to positively impact patient safety and care quality.
This role will work with the Inpatient Team at Childrens Mercy in KCMO. Incumbent must live within driving distance of the hospital.
Will need prior clinical experience within Cerner Epic or both. The incumbent must be certified in Epic Inpatient Orders within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

- Serves as a Health Informatics resource for clinical departments
- Project and Program Management
- Integrates nursing science computer science and information science to improve clinical systems for patient care safety quality efficacy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree BSN Required and 35 years experience Clinical experience health informatics Information Systems or Information Technology experience
- One of the following: Licensed RN MO Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri required upon hire
- One of the following: Licensed RN Kansas Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas required upon hire
- RN Compact license for all states besides KS and MO
- At least one applicationspecific Epic certification relevant to the department (determined by role leadership) Required within 120 days of hire. Must complete Epic certification training if not already Epic certified in the most recent version of the Ep
- ANCC Board Certification Informatics Nursing Preferred

Starting Pay
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $35.91/hr but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work/Work from Home
This position is entirely remote or workfromhome. The person hired must live in the Kansas City metro area and may attend onsite meetings as scheduled.
