Job Description

IMC is currently looking to hire a Radiology Technologistin our Cath Lab full time.Thisposition performs scrubandradiographic duties for proceduresincluding cardiac catheterizations peripheral angiography clot retrievalpacer implant/explant and more.Responsibilities include all xray equipment cardiac cath equipmentimplementation of patient charges and proper preparation of the patient and labprior to the procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduateof Radiologic program which is accredited by the Joint Review Committee forRadiology Technology Education (JRCRTE).
- Valid Louisiana State License
- Previous experience preferred but not required
PRINCIPLE TASKS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform prescribed specialized radiographic procedures utilizing ionizing radiation as directed by provider organizational policies procedures and protocols
- Operates all radiographic equipment in Cath Lab at a technical levelunder the direction of a cardiologist.
- Set up procedural tray and scrub for all Cath Lab cases and performs scrub assist role during invasive procedures
- Assist with preparation and transport of patient to and from Cath Lab
