Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Mental Health Technician is a member of the interdisciplinary team on Inpatient Psychiatry whose duties include maintaining a safe therapeutic environment documentation and managing emergency situations. Duties are performed in accordance with hospital policies and procedures under the direction and supervision of the nurse manager. Inpatient Psychiatry supports mental health constant observation on other floors in the hospital as needed.
EXPERIENCE:
Patient care experience and experience with mental health preferred.
SHIFTS:
Full Time 36 hours per week) available.
Part Time 20 hours per week) available.
Additional Details:
Must have fulltime availability for first week of employment to attend orientations.
This is a bargaining union position.Required Experience:
