This is a remote position.
Position Title: Video EditorWork Setup: Work From Home
Schedule: 10:00 pm 2:00 am // US Holidays
Salary: Php
Our client is a lawyer who loves to talk about different subjects in philosophy politics psychology and law. She asks questions and discusses opposing arguments on contentious topics.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Video Editor that can edit her short and longform content that she is putting out on her platforms.
JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE VIDEO EDITOR ROLE
Your Responsibilities as a Video Editor will be:
Create/Edit longform and shortform videos in an engaging and cinematic style
o Longform: 5 30 minutes
o Shortform: 30 seconds 3 minutes
Edit digital video and audio in nonlinear editing platforms like Adobe Premiere Pro.
Manage and maintain source material projects and other assets.
Actively contribute to creating reels/videos and other materials as needed both for short & long form formatting.
Responsible in keeping all raw data in cloud/Dropbox by creating necessary backups and cleaning the computer hard drive to ensure smooth operations.
Possess professionalism and accountability.
Qualifications as a Video Editor:
Bachelor s degree in multimedia cinematography or any equivalent education.
23 years proven experience as Video Editor or similar role
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and other art softwares.
Someone who brings the right attitude and responsibility as a Video editor.
Must have very high attention to detail and be able to spot focus framing and color issues.
A team player and hungry for everyday learning and improving editing skills.
Ability to multitask prioritize and manage time effectively.
Someone who can understand feedback and adjust accordingly.
Excellent communicator fluent in English and can follow instructions.
Has great work ethic and high regard to timeline deadlines and commitment.
Can do attitude problem solver.
