Job Description
The Middle School Math Teacher will be responsible for the direct supervision and instruction of students. He/she will provide a Catholic education through excellent academic and extracurricular programs that promote leadership achievement and service within the church and community. This is a fulltime benefiteligible 10month teaching position.
Essential Functions
- Develop and deliver engaging Math lessons that align with curriculum standards set by the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
- Assess student understanding through a variety of formative and summative assessments.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students including those with varying abilities and learning styles.
- Maintain an accurate and updated gradebook ensuring both students and parents have an understanding of academic progress.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Education Math Education or a related field
- Valid MSDE teaching certification or eligibility for certification in the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
- Strong content knowledge in middle school Math disciplines.
- Previous teaching experience particularly at the middle school level is preferred.
Range: $Annualized
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location skills education experience for this role and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer.
