Do you possess a strong technical documentation background coupled with a passion for creating exceptional content Are you eager to take on the challenge of supporting Amazons position as the leading innovator in cloud computing and web services technology This role presents an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a stellar technical team and author technical content within a crossfunctional distributed environment.
AWS Supply Chain is a cloudbased application that works with your enterprise resource planning (ERP) and supply chain management systems to connect and extract your inventory supply and demand related data from existing ERP or supply chain systems into a single data model. The AWS Supply Chain service is looking for a Technical Writer to produce highquality technical publications for the service.
Ideally you have both a technical background that enables easy interaction with software developers and a demonstrated ability to deliver highquality technical documentation. This is an opportunity to explain complex information concisely. You will become part of a customerobsessed dynamic team of talented geographically distributed highly technical communicators.

Utility Computing (UC)
AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations from foundational services such as Amazons Simple Storage Service (S3 and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2 to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWSs services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization youll support the development and management of Compute Database Storage Internet of Things (Iot) Platform and Productivity Apps services in AWS including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.
Degree or certification in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience
A minimum of 5 years of experience designing and producing content for a technical audience such as Software Engineers System Administrators or IT professionals
Experience using content publishing tools to write format manage and publish technical content on the web
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with XML markdown or HTML
Familiarity with using and following a style guide
Experience designing planning and delivering content that meets the needs of a technical audience
Previous Supply Chain Management experience preferred
Experience working directly with teams of software engineers

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $96900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $195800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
