Were seeking for an experienced Operations Supervisors/Process Assistant to join the team at our Fulfillment Center in Moorebank for Day Shift.
The Process Assistant will support the Area Manager and will hold responsibilities specific to your process path.
Key job responsibilities:
Support and work in all departments as required
Helping support daily management of department duties including allocating labor leading meetings assigning job duties
Providing coverage for Area Managers
Providing policy followup attendance tracking (duties do not extend to discipline)
Tracking and reporting of ATS/labor hours
Assisting the floor as an associate resource training associates and verifying SOP compliance
Ensuring successful area performance through tracking reporting and feedback of associate performance
Participating in Operational Excellence initiatives in some capacity
Fully understanding workflow and daily production goals
Assisting in keeping work area clean and organised
Identifying and addressing safety hazards within the work area
Coaching associates to work safely at all times
Referring all job injuries immediately to area manager.
Previous experience leading teams
Availability to work 38 hours/week and overtime as required
Comfortable in lifting up to 16 kilos stand/walk for up to 1012 hours and be able to frequently push pull squat bend and reach all with or without reasonable accommodation
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to coach train and assist team members
Experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel).
Leadership experience directly managing others
Experience working within a similar field (manufacturing/distribution/warehousing/large retail)
Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement.
