Amazon is hiring Associate Account Executives (AAE) to aid businesses in growing awareness and sales of their products using Amazons advertising offerings. This fulltime role is ideal for an entrylevel or early career candidate who is interested in launching a career at the intersection of advertising and sales has a history of achieving ambitious goals and is an analytical problem solver with an interest in working with both wellknown and emerging brands. As an AAE you will begin your journey at Amazon immersed in an 12week sales training program along with 510 peers during which you will learn about the digital advertising industry become an expert in Amazons advertising products and understand how these products help brands efficiently grow their businesses. You will learn how to develop business relationships with a focus to exceeding customer expectations educate advertisers on digital commerce growth strategies and hone presentation and negotiation skills. Youll receive training and personalized coaching to prepare you to independently own advertiser relationships and manage a book of business following successful completion of training. The AAE program provides an opportunity to accelerate career development across roles in advertising marketing and sales while supporting one of Amazons fastest growing businesses. Amazon is currently recruiting AAEs for an April 1 2025 start date. Candidates wellsuited for the role are or are interested in becoming fast learners excellent presenters strong communicators effective listeners and project managers who are able to balance competing priorities. Candidates must be comfortable prospecting coldcalling and negotiating both via phone and inperson meetings.
Responsibilities: Strive to delight our customers and make their lives easier Educate customers on Amazons advertising solutions Take a consultative approach to optimizing customers advertising campaigns through the use of sales data and Amazon insights Attain weekly sales activity goals Learn to initiate prospecting and lead generation activities
Responsibility after the program: Retain and grow revenue from your book of business of existing advertisers Close new business deals Achieve quota targets and accurately forecast advertising revenue Provide support and feedback to future AAE classes
1 year of B2B or B2C sales experience including internships
Experience using online productivity tools such as Office 365 Salesforce or similar software
