Flexible Packaging Field Service Technical Representative

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Flexible Packaging Field Service Technical Representative to join our team at First Quality Print & Packaging in Anderson SC who will have a significant impact on customer success and sustainability initiatives. This role is crucial to ensuring the high performance and integration of our flexible packaging solutions across customer sites. The Field Service Technical Representative will be responsible for conducting product qualifications providing onsite support troubleshooting and delivering superior customer service. Additionally when not in the field this role requires presence in our own facility to foster team integration share insights and collaborate on product improvements. This position is pivotal in maintaining our high standards and exceeding customer expectations. We offer exposure to cuttingedge technology in the flexible packaging sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform product qualifications and trials at customer locations to guarantee our flexible packaging solutions meet tailored customer requirements.
• Offer technical support and troubleshooting for our film products onsite ensuring swift and effective resolution of any issues.
• Engage directly with customers to comprehend their packaging needs providing expert advice and tailored solutions.
• Liaise with R&D and production teams sharing customer feedback and field insights to drive product innovation and improvement.
• Provide comprehensive training to customers on the handling installation and maintenance of our products ensuring optimal performance.
• When not in the field actively participate in our own facilities to integrate with the team share knowledge and contribute to collaborative projects.
• Prepare detailed field service reports documenting product performance customer interactions and technical activities.
• Keep up to date with industry trends new technologies and regulatory standards to offer informed recommendations and sustain our competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

• Technical diploma or degree in Engineering Material Science Packaging Technology or a related field.
• 5 years demonstrated experience in a field technician installation maintenance or similar role preferably within the flexible packaging or food and beverage industry.
• Indepth knowledge of packaging materials and processes with a focus on flexible films.
• Exceptional problemsolving abilities and proficiency in troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of fostering strong customer relationships and effective team collaboration.
• Availability for extensive travel to customer sites including overnight stays while maintaining a significant presence in our own facilities. Domestic travel estimated at 5080.
