Overview
UW Credit Union is growing and continuously looking for top talent who aligns with our core values to join our organization. If you are interested in working at UW Credit Union our FullTime Teller opportunity is a great place to start.
UW Credit Union currently has 11 branches in the Milwaukee area that hire and staff FullTime Tellers. Those branches are Mayfair Wauwatosa Elm Grove West Allis Waukesha New Berlin Bay View UWMilwaukee Campus Bayshore Franklin and Oak Creek.
As a FullTime Teller you are an essential part of our branch team. You will accurately handle teller transactions while recognizing opportunities to recommend UW Credit Union products and services that alignwith our members financial goals. Through these interactions you will build strong and trustworthy relationships with members at your branch.

Responsibilities
A Day in the Life of a Teller
Each day will be a different adventure. Below is a snapshot of what your day could look like:
- Welcome and assist members at a Milwaukee branch representing UW Credit Union.
- Strive to meet performance goals in line with our Members for Life Sales & Service Philosophy.
- Keep a good understanding of all UW Credit Union products and services.
- Ensure accurate and efficient handling of member requests at the Teller line.
- Follow UW Credit Unions Cash Management policies and procedures.
- Investigate potential errors in Teller transactions and communicate with affected members.
- Build relationships with members understand their needs offer recommendations and make referrals when appropriate.
- Look for ways to exceed our members expectations.
- Work with your branch team to address member and branch needs.
Qualifications
What Youll Need to Succeed
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of prior experience in customer service.
- Confidence with cash handling and transactions.
- Proven ability to interact effectively with customers from diverse age groups and backgrounds.
- Strong interpersonal and professional skills.
- Collaborative team player who is also comfortable working independently in a selfdirected environment.
- Comfortable using computers and mobile devices.
- Skilled in resolving issues and demonstrating empathy when needed.
