Our IT System Engineers are responsible for developing strategies for design development testing implementation backup and disaster recovery and production usage for software application platforms for DEQ missioncritical applications. In this role youll:

The IT System Engineer position includes a career ladder for professional development and pay progression.
Associate degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field with an emphasis on information technology and/or software application engineering. Relevant bachelors degree preferred.
Four 4 years jobrelated experience in software applications engineering or other closely related field of work.
Demonstrated ability to learn and master new technologies and tools as the role evolves ensuring continuous improvement and adaptation to changing technical environments.
Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered on a casebycase basis.
