About the Role:

The Team: The Insurance Client Services Role involves being one of the main client contact in providing them support on maximizing the use of the product for Insurance companies covered in Capital IQ Pro. On a daily basis the associates time is spent in addressing client questions and requests about the platform/excel addin and is also responsible for escalating issues and inquiries to other teams if necessary communicating with internal content teams account management.

The Impact:

  • Along with providing the best product in the market is providing the best support for it. Associates have a direct impact on the quality of the support provided hence directly affecting the clients perspective of the quality of the company as a whole.
  • Since the Associates are directly contacting clients they also have the opportunity to relay feedback to the company and understand the needs of the clients which is valuable to the development of the Platform.
  • Additionally youll help to accelerate the quality and timeliness of the data improve operational efficiency to reduce error rates and improve support survey scores to help maintain retention rates and drive revenue increases.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing the industrybased client support to S&P clients across the world.
  • Accountable for proactively handling inbound client inquiries phone calls emails and chats.
  • Adaptable to learn recent macroeconomic & industry events and enhancements in S&P products.
  • Ability to independently manage the interactions with various unified teams.
  • Work as a team member to achieve the department targets for client satisfaction.
  • You would make suggestions in regard to product usability presentation and data quality.

What Were Looking For:

  • Excellent communication skills basic MS Excel skills strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Basic Insurance knowledge (eg: what are premiums how an insurance company makes money different types of Insurance)
  • Strong working knowledge of the fundamentals of business financial statements and investments.
  • Proficient in research and analysis.
  • Inclination towards customeroriented approach.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workflow with little supervision.
  • The position requires working in rotational shifts but initially for the first 8/9months it might be evening/night shift.

Basic Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelors/College degree in Economics Finance or equivalent.
