What You Will Do
Serve as Product Owner for a mission management product.
Provide technical direction and design to software agile development teams and other Engineering personnel.
Seek input and feedback from the customer users perform technical analyses and define how the system works by developing system interfaces use cases stories and tasks.
Work with the Release Train Engineer System Architect and Chief Engineer on the development of cloudbased SW architecture and technologies to be implemented by the Product Team which they direct.
What You Will Learn
A breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques including multitiered architectures AWS web services and microservice software design.
Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques.
Software lifecycle practices for largescale defense projects.
Satellite ground system technologies.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
Experience developing objectoriented software using Java.
Experience with satellite planning and scheduling software.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date.U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with Perl and Java Swing.
Experience with Oracle SQL.
Experience working with a largescale legacy software system.
Experience with tools such as Confluence Eclipse Git Jira Jenkins Junit and Spring Boot
