Job Description:
We are seeking Qualified Care Workers to join our team of caring professionals. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to providing highquality care. As a Care Worker with Real Caring you will play a vital role in assisting consumers with their daily activities promoting their independence and ensuring their overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care including bathing dressing and grooming
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Support consumers with medication prompting
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and report any changes in consumers health or behaviour
- Collaborate with family members and Care Managers to ensure comprehensive care
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role or
- Relevant certification in care work (e.g. Certificate III in Aged Care)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy patience and a caring nature
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
