Job Description

The role:

You will partner with the Client Coverage providing support and credit capabilities across all aspects of portfolio management credit transactions and the client relationship. Further youll have an opportunity to build on your existing credit/analytical skills and client relationship skills and play a key role in driving superior client outcomes and delivering world class client relationships.

In this Associate role you will be responsible for:

  • Proactively managing risk; maintaining an ongoing awareness of NABs credit policy credit and market risk and internal risk appetite.
  • Portfolio management including credit submissions annual reviews and documentation.
  • Ongoing servicing of clients including ensuring financial and reporting covenants are met.
  • Conducting research and analysis to develop industry/sector expertise and knowledge.
  • Ensuring system data and information integrity is maintained within the portfolio.
  • Collaboration with the Client Coverage CME Product Partners and client support teams to achieve seamless client experience.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to support business outcomes while managing portfolio risks.

What you will bring:

  • Prior banking experience gained in either Business Corporate or Institutional Banking.
  • Undergraduate qualification in Finance Business or Accounting.
  • Developed credit and financial analysis skills as well as a good understanding of financial markets debt products and the legal and regulatory environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills the ability to work effectively in a team environment and connect with clients and key internal stakeholders.
  • Effective time management skills
