ARSIEM is looking for a Principal Software Developer with proven experience in installing configuring developing and integrating prototype applications for technical engineer will support a lab environment providing support for customers developing and testing experiments. This position will support one of our government clients in Ft. Meade MD.
Responsibilities
- Develop capabilities designed to help solve common problems arising from various analyst offices.
- Prototype development to extend enterprise services support analytics enhance machine learning and develop commercial cloud solutions.
- Support the integration and evaluation of open source emerging technologies and new COTS applications. Work directly with customers developers or data scientists to gather requirements and feedback.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience integrating with customers cloudbased data systems.
- Experience installing configuring developing and integrating prototype applications for technical evaluation.
- Bachelors degree plus 11 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- Computer Science (CS) degree or related field. Strong development experience in a variety of languages (ex. Java Python).
Preferred Qualifications
- Modeling experience.
- Machine Learning experience.
- Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes.
- Dev experience on Linux platforms.
- Analytics development experience.
- Virtual Machine (VM) experience.
$209000 $234000 a year
The ARSIEM pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other laws.

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Candidate Referral: Do you know someone who would be GREAT at this role If you do ARSIEM has a way for you to earn a bonus through our referral program for persons presenting NEW (not in our resume database) candidates who are successfully placed on one of our projects. The bonus for this position is $10000 and the referrer is eligible to receive the sum for any applicant we can place within 12 months of referral. The bonus is paid after the referred employee reaches six months of employment.
