Job Description:
As a Systems Administrator you will be responsible for managing cloud and onprem infrastructure ensuring security reliability and performance across enterprise systems while supporting Emapta teams and talents globally through advanced technical support and continuous service improvements.
Job Overview:
Shift: 3:30 AM 12:30 PM LK Time (Mon Fri)
Work setup: Hybrid (Colombo Sri Lanka)
Your Daily Tasks:
- Manage and support IT infrastructure to ensure system stability security and performance.
- Provide 2ndtier support for Microsoft 365 Outlook Teams OneDrive and other enterprise apps.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance service delivery and enduser experience.
- Plan and execute IT projects upgrades and system migrations.
- Monitor system health conduct diagnostics and apply preventive measures.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging cloud technologies.
- Act as a point of escalation for technical issues with timely stakeholder communication.
- Analyze incident trends and recommend system reliability improvements.
- Develop documentation and best practice procedures.
- Support knowledgesharing and technical training initiatives within the team.
- Align personal performance with business and IT goals.
- Perform additional admin tasks as assigned by IT leadership.
Requirements
The Qualifications We Seek:
- Relevant certifications (e.g. Azure Administrator Associate AWS SysOps Administrator or similar).
- 3 5 years of experience in system administration or engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online Teams OneDrive SharePoint).
- Experience with AWS Azure or GCP infrastructure and services.
- Strong grasp of email security threat management and DLP.
- Scripting skills (PowerShell) for automation.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident change service level management).
- Strong troubleshooting analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
