Job Description
The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer with 23 years of graphic design and print production experience to join our dynamic marketing and design team. In this role you will create visually compelling designs while ensuring brand consistency across all marketing materials. You will develop your skills and professional experience as you work closely with the Creative Director and marketing team to develop print and digital assets that enhance the resorts branding promotions and guest experience.
- Assist in designing and producing print and digital materials including brochures flyers menus signage and advertisements.
- Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms.
- Prepare and optimize files for print production ensuring highquality output and proper color management.
- Collaborate with internal teams and print vendors to ensure accurate production specifications and timely delivery.
- Assist with photo editing retouching and resizing for marketing materials.
- Support the marketing team with social media graphics web assets and email marketing visuals as needed.
- Stay up to date with design trends printing techniques and resort marketing strategies.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
Qualifications :
- Hospitality resort marketing agency or luxury brand experience is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics video editing or HTML/CSS is a bonus.
- Experience with photography or photo manipulation is an advantage.
- 23 years of experience in graphic design with a focus on print production.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign).
- Project Management Software such as Monday or Trello
- Strong understanding of print production processes color theory typography and layout design.
- Experience preparing pressready files and working with print vendors.
- Knowledge of digital design for social media and web is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to take direction work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
