Senior Consultant - Maintenance Planning

• Responsible for the planning and executing longterm scheduled plans for all equipment maintained by the department for both surface and underground.
• Responsible for maintaining a ZeroInjury workplace environment.
• Responsible for the development and implementation of longterm maintenance strategies for all equipment maintained by the department for both surface and underground.
• Ensures quality services are delivered on time within budget and sets team objectives aligned with OceanaGolds Values and Visions.
• Focuses on proactive maintenance strategies to minimize unplanned downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
• Collaborates with other departments to ensure alignment of longterm maintenance plans with overall operational goals.
• Develops comprehensive longterm maintenance strategies and plans integrating production targets and business objectives.
•  Analyzes historical data and trends to forecast future maintenance needs identifying potential challenges and opportunities.
• Coordinates with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment between longterm maintenance strategies and organizational goals.
• Provides recommendations for capital investment projects based on predictive analytics and longterm forecasting.
• Develop and manage asset life cycle plans from acquisition to disposal ensuring costeffective asset utilization
• Conduct detailed risk and costbenefit analyses to recommend optimal asset replacement refurbishment or disposal strategies.
• Monitors asset performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and optimize reliability.
• Monitors and reports on capitalized components project progress ensuring adherence to timelines budgets and quality standards.

Qualifications :

• Licensed mechanical engineer.
• 10 years of global experience in the metal and mining industry with a proven track record of success in longterm planning and strategy development.
• Advanced understanding of mechanical systems and their applications in mining operations.
• Deep understanding of material science including wear corrosion and fatigue.
• Strong Mathematical and Analytical Skills.
• Proficiency in Physics and Mechanics.
• Materials Knowledge.
• Thermodynamics Fluid Dynamics and heat transfer principles as applied to industrial equipment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance processes including predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Indepth understanding of longterm maintenance strategies and their impact on overall business objectives.
• Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills in complex problemsolving and data analysis.
• Expertise in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems for strategic planning longterm budgeting and capital expenditure forecasting.
• Advanced project management skills for overseeing longterm maintenance projects.
• Proven problemsolving capabilities with a strategic approach to machinery reliability and maintenance optimization.
• Ability to develop and implement comprehensive longterm maintenance strategies that align with business goals.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to analyze equipment performance trends and adjust longterm maintenance plans accordingly.
• Strong leadership skills to guide maintenance teams in achieving longterm planning goals.
