The Finance Lead for R&D Finance will support financial guidance in compliance with financial policies prepares management analysis of actual vs. benchmark results provides business decision support and leads key projects and initiatives to improve financial processes. Clinical Development support the financial planning & analysis processes for Hematology Oncology study budgets. Finance Lead interacts with all levels of finance and R&D business management. Assists in required planning and reporting deliverables to meet R&D HQ FP&A requirements to adhere to AbbVie Corporate FP&A requirements
Responsibilities
Provide assistance and support for Oncology Development Teams.
Proactively collaborates with the R&D organization to deliver financial commitments and identify / deliver strategic and growth value drivers within Oncology portfolio.
Assists in all aspects of monthly quarterly Plan and LRP (Long Range Plan) and LBEs (Latest Business Estimate) as required.
Supports relevant variance analysis for each planning cycle and develops meaningful management reporting schedules and ensures accuracy and predictability of results and key metrics.
Supports the financial discussions with R&D Therapeutic and Finance leadership providing insights for components of Clinical spend and implications of changes to enable informed decisionmaking.
Qualifications :
Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted advisor and develop strategic insights to drive decisions.
Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to scale and tailor information / communication styles based on customer needs / style.
Demonstrated ability to influence both up and down an organization.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
